Fifth National Ground Water Symposium

Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO) in collaboration with CREEW, The Small Earth Nepal (SEN) and other partners has organized the 5th National Symposium on “Challenges and Opportunities for Sustainable Management of Groundwater Resources of Nepal” on 21st March 2014 in the occasion of World Water Day 2014.


Wards 8 and 9 of Birendranagar Municipality declared as ODF

Joint ODF declaration of wards 8 and 9 of Birendranagar Municipality, Surkhet was celebrated on 14th March 2014. The ODF programme was facilitated by ENPHO in collaboration with the Ward and Municipal level Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Coordination Committees (W/MWASH-CC) under the SWASH project supported by the Dutch WASH Alliance and WASTE-the Netherlands; and USSH4A project supported by SNV. The event was chaired by Mrs. Nirmala Bhattarai, president of WWASHCC Ward No 8, and welcome speech was announced by Mr. Dambar Thapa, president of WWASHCC Ward No 9.
